artist statement
I am deeply influenced by the emotional experience of being human. My creative process is fueled by a desire to capture and express the complexity of the human psyche, including the aspects of ourselves that we struggle with or feel ashamed of. My hope is that my art will provide a platform for others to connect with their own emotions and find solace in shared experiences.I work primarily in digital, photographic, and written mediums, with sub-foci in sculptural and traditional(drawing, painting, sculpture) mediums, and I am committed to honing my skills through practice and experimentation. My work often centers on nature and the human form, as I find them to be powerful symbols of strength, resilience, and vulnerability. As a gender non-conforming person, I am acutely aware of the pressures we face to conform to societal norms of beauty and perfection. Through my art, I hope to challenge these norms and celebrate the beauty in all forms of life and self-expression.My current goal as an artist is to continue to evolve and refine my style while using my experience to create meaningful work. My dream is to work as a boudoir and erotic photographer, collaborating with clients who share my passion for art that is emotionally resonant and visually striking. While financial success is not my primary motivation, I hope to earn a living doing what I love and sharing my vision with others. Ultimately, I goal is that my art will inspire others to embrace their own unique qualities and find joy in the beauty of imperfection.
